Day of Reckoning sounds ominious, doesn’t it, especially during these times. Well perhaps that’s what this new book from my friend Kai Strand has in store for her readers–a bit of fear inducing, scintillating reading.

I’m glad you’re hanging on/in. Writing can be incredibly hard. You have such talent.
Thanks for featuring us and the support. Much appreciated. Congrats to Kai.
Wow, that’s a lot of miles. I like to exercise daily as well, because nothing helps me sleep better than being physically exhausted. I don’t mind the isolation so much, but I do miss the quiet time when everyone else was at school and I could focus on anything (like writing) without being interrupted every two seconds. I’m also heavy into gardening, but right now, I’m looking at a very cute groundhog and wondering what havoc he’s planning for all my hard work. Maybe I’ll name him Covid.
I’m sorry I didn’t respond to your question in time, Lee. The email came in yesterday because the internet in my building is very tempermental. We’re in rainy season without the rain, but with high winds that play havoc with the lines. Whatever, it’s just a game every day to see what kind of wifi I’ll have. Some days good, some moments nada. Happy IWSG Wednesday, and thanks for all you do. I’m glad you’re staying with it. You do shine a light, you know.
Great cover! I’m originally from Oregon, too. Still go back to visit. Good luck with your book launch!
The title catches one’s interest for sure. Best of luck!
Congrats, Kai. 🙂

Congratulations and very best wishes, Kai!
Congrat, congrats!
Congrats to Kai! Sounds like an interesting story. Thanks for the giveaway. I entered.
* I entered as me, but as Jess and I have been co-authors for 10 years I am often signed into various accounts as her and she as me. I couldn’t tell when I did the first “leave a comment” whose account was being recognized. There is a chance I am entered as Jess Haight, but I did fb and goodreads as me. Even when I am in the middle of work for my day job- the computer will sometimes think I am Jess all of a sudden an not let me in my Google Drive. 🙂
It gets complicated, doesn’t it? Thanks for stopping in and entering. I know Kai appreciates your support.
Thanks for visiting, Stephanie. Good luck with the giveaway. I write under two pseudonyms and sometimes do my day job from my computer, so I totally know what you’re talking about. Even during this tour, sometimes I come up as “Admin” and I’m like…uh, what…how? Lol. Technology, it’s good until it isn’t.
Congrats, Kai! This looks really exciting. Yes, lots of scope for growth if Potter is anything to go by.
It’s always exciting when one of our friends launches, isn’t it? Thanks, Nick.
Thanks, Nick! I do love the endless possibilities with this series! This weekend I’m determined to type THE END on the prequel. Fingers crossed.
Congrats to Kai!
Thank you, Patricia.
Thanks Patricia!
Congrats to Kai. Sounds like a great book.
Hope you entered.
Thank you, Liz. Appreciate you stopping by.
Sounds like an interesting book–wonder how many dystopias are being written now we’re in the pandemic?
This has probably generated tons. We’ll find out soon.
Jeff, I’ve been wondering the same thing! There will so many pandemic stories in our near future 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for the visit, Damyanti.
Thanks for stopping. Hope you entered the giveaway!
Congrats to Kai!
Great to see you here! Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks for all of the support <3
First in a series? Well done!
Series are a great idea. Guess you know that! 🙂
Oh the potential! Thanks for visiting.
More booky temptation?
Sigh. Thank you and drat you.
And of course the major protagonist can be young. Greta Thunberg is proof of that. Not to mention Harry Potter.
Your comments are always a joy!
Greta is such an inspiration! People should never be dismissed. Not even children. Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for sharing Day of Reckoning with your readers, Lee! I appreciate it.
Great to have you here today, Kai! Another congratulations on your newest book.
Lee, thanks so much for being a part of Kai’s tour and sharing her book with your readers. It’s a fascinating story.
I’m glad to do it. Thanks for asking me to be a part of her tour.
