For those who aren’t familiar with the author, here’s a bit of background on her.

Award-winning Kai Strand, author of the action-packed Super Villain Academy series, is often found exploring hiking trails and snapping pictures of waterfalls in her Oregon hometown.

  3. Wow, that’s a lot of miles. I like to exercise daily as well, because nothing helps me sleep better than being physically exhausted. I don’t mind the isolation so much, but I do miss the quiet time when everyone else was at school and I could focus on anything (like writing) without being interrupted every two seconds. I’m also heavy into gardening, but right now, I’m looking at a very cute groundhog and wondering what havoc he’s planning for all my hard work. Maybe I’ll name him Covid.

  4. I’m sorry I didn’t respond to your question in time, Lee. The email came in yesterday because the internet in my building is very tempermental. We’re in rainy season without the rain, but with high winds that play havoc with the lines. Whatever, it’s just a game every day to see what kind of wifi I’ll have. Some days good, some moments nada. I couldn’t tell when I did the first “leave a comment” whose account was being recognized. There is a chance I am entered as Jess Haight, but I did fb and goodreads as me. Even when I am in the middle of work for my day job- the computer will sometimes think I am Jess all of a sudden an not let me in my Google Drive. 🙂

Even during this tour, sometimes I come up as “Admin” and I’m like…uh, what…how? Lol. Technology, it’s good until it isn’t.
