Awesome!!!
I do love horror. Thanks for the book recommendations.
Awesome covers, and what great write-ups! Congrats JH 🙂
Way cool for new IWSG admins. Wow, the site is really growing.
Both books sound awesome! And that blurb from Chuck Wendig—WOW! Can't get any better than that, I think. Congrats to J.H., and much success!
Thanks for the visit over at Quiet Laughter , Lee. Always so nice to see your name pop up in the comments 🙂
I love your site. Miss you when you're off having exciting experiences.
These books sound enticingly spooky. I love ghost stories. I have my copy of the Secret Garden. For some reason I've never read it, until now. Looking forward to the discussion. A busy month is June.
It's very melodramatic, but I can see why it's a classic.

Nice feature! And I was thrilled to click on City of Ghosts and find that it is free for Kindle right now. I'm a sucker for horror or dark fiction/suspense.
By the way, I finally got around to ordering Double Negative (right before you had your sale, lol, of course) and am champing at the bit to get to it. I have a couple things in line before it, but I'll be sure to let you know when I start reading it!
I'll have to click on that link, too! Thanks for buying DN. I always get excited when someone I know is about to read my books.
Congratulations J.H.
Congrats to JH! They sound like intereresting stories!
Those are both really intriguing covers.
A huge congratulations to J.H. on the release of two books and to the two new #IWSG Administrators.
J.H's covers are amazing – I'll definitely be reading these books, in the daytime, with the light on!
Congratulations to J.H.! I love seeing her success. And, of course, I'm a fan of horror and supernatural suspense.
I love suspense and supernatural! Congrats J.H. The covers are fabulous! Thanks for spotlighting J.H. this month Lee.
J. H. Moncrieff is obsessed with true crime. I used to listen to these podcasts that had sorts of true crimes. I'll have to remind myself of the site. But I also listed to this podcast called SERIAL which was getting quite the debut, its latest series was about a pakistani american who was accused of killing his ex-gf.
Great stuff and suspense filled no doubt.
Horror can go with any month if you are in the right frame of mind. 🙂 Best of luck to JH! Awesome covers!
~Jess
Fun happenings for June! Looking forward to hearing the IWSG news.
Thanks so much for featuring me this month, Lee! And thanks to everyone for their kind comments.
These books are supernatural suspense, so those who don't like horror will be able to handle them! 🙂
Horror in June. Why not?
Congrats to JH. I've been seeing the one book getting around the interwebs. Always enjoy the blog too.
Congrats to a brave gal who has 2 books out and doesn't let fear get the best of her!
Going ghostly where no obsessed No 1 seller has gone before, you'll see…
Ooooh. Congratulations to JH. I am people obsessed, and my partner is true crime obsessed. And sometimes truth is definitely stranger, creepier, scarier than fiction.
JH is great! Her blog is so much fun, and I really enjoy reading it. Congrats to her on her new releases. 🙂
Congratulations to JH! I've been feeling like some horror lately too.
Spookiness is always a treat. I'm really keen on it come October.
I am noodling an idea for a ghost story as well. Good luck with the new release J H!
Go for it, Libby!
Hi Lee – and JH .. love the covers – they certainly evoke some challenging encounters … good luck I say. Cheers Hilary

Well these certainly qualify as 'horror'. Perfect for a group read in the dark, outside by a dying fire pit.
Oh yes!
Actually, they're supernatural suspense, but I have some other books that are horror. 😀
Great covers! I enjoy a good horror story every now and then.
They're better than caffeine to keep you awake.
Sounds like two great tales indeed. Twitterer, say that three times fast haha Big news indeed coming to be.
LOL!
Congratulations to JH. I'm not a big fan of horror, but I can understand its allure. On the other hand, I have read quite of bit of Lovecraft and Poe… 😀
Poe can me the shivers just typing his name.
You're in luck, Bish! These two books are supernatural suspense, so even people who don't like horror have enjoyed them.
