Yep! Today I have to tidy up to do around here, so this is housekeeping day. Pulling on my rubber gloves and grabbing the mop, off I go!
I need help with another launch on May 15. Some Very Messy Medieval Magic could use some blog time and anything else you have in your social media larder. I’m very low tech when it comes to signing up, so if you’re interested, just leave a yes in the comment with what you’d like to do to help me with lift-off. I’ll get in touch with you.

One Secret
Cleo has struggled to heal after her baby sister’s death, but the flashbacks to the accident won’t go away. With the move, she vows to keep her tragedy a secret and avoid pitying looks.
One Mystery
Something’s strange about the abandoned house across the street—flashes of light late at night and small flickers of movement that only someone looking for them would see.
Everyone says the house is deserted, but Cleo is sure it isn’t, and she’s sure whoever is inside is watching her.
Another Secret
In one night, Belleza’s life changes forever. So famous, her only choice is to hide her secret from the world so she can silence small town bigotry.
Then Cleo happens.
Do you remember that I was on the PINK TEAM during the Young Adult Scavenger Hunt? Well, the winners of books have been announced. Sudden Secrets goes to Meagan C. She won several books from the PINK TEAM. Congrats, Meagan. Your book is on the way.
Quote of the Week: “Housework is a treadmill from futility to oblivion with stop offs at tedium and counter productivity. ” — Erma Bombeck
Thank you for the reminder, Erma.
Congrats again! I’m happy to help via social media…just give me a nudge when the time comes. I’m in your corner.
Thanks for this offer. You’re a great person to have in my corner!
Wow! You have a lot going on in May. Such an exciting time. Hoping all the launches go well. We will be share to shout out about both. 🙂
You know how much it takes to get all of these books off the launching pad. Thanks very much for the shout outs.
Congratulations on your new release. I think we’re in need of a housekeeper!
Thanks, Jeff. Everybody needs a housekeeper!
I’d love to have you as a guest poster (that sounds funny) – and I’ll tweet too. 🙂
You can tack me to the wall, then take me down when I’ve faded. 🙂
😂
Sounds like such a busy month ahead for you!
Hi Nas. Yes, I’m chasing my tail right now. What to do first? What to do at all? Decisions all the time. Great to see you.
I’m on “limited” screen time for the next two weeks, but I can definitely help, as long as I can pre-scheduled and just dip into re-sharing and retweeting in tiny dabs of time.
I will share on instagram, my blog, and twitter … just remind me, okay?
Thanks, Tyrean. I’ll make it simple and easy to pre-schedule.
Good luck with the upcoming releases and the cleaning! I need to do my spring cleaning too.
You know I’m a yes!
Hi Lee, Wishing you all the best on your new releases! When it rains it pours!
I’ll be happy to do anything you’d like me to for the launch. Just let me know.
You’ve done so much for me already. Let’s talk. 🙂
Anytime. I can tweet and Facebook and whatever.
I have a copy to read/review so I’ll be posting that on the blog. Good luck with the release though!!
-Lauren
You’re great, Lauren. Thanks so much.
Sure (yes). Blog.
Thanks, Sandra. I’ll be knocking at your door soon.
Sure going to be a busy bee as May comes to be. But great busy indeed.
I’d rather be busy than have time to think about my problems.
Busy, busy, busy.
Would you like to do a guest post at my place?
I’d love that. You have a paradise going, and I’d love to be a part of it. I’ll email you.
This sounds like such a busy month for you! All the best!
Yep. Pass the vitamins, please.
As I said, you’re in for a busy May!
April hasn’t been much of a down time either! 🙂
I’ll be able to help out with the launch on my blog. I’m not sure how many of my blog regulars read that genre, but they might have youngsters to buy for!
That’s great, Annalisa. The adults are the buyers, right?
We all have those days when we need to do the official stuff.
Good luck with your releases.
And what’s more official than housekeeping?
I’d be happy to help, Lee. Just send me dates and material to [email protected]. Looking forward to it!
Thanks, Jacqui. I know you’re up to your eyeballs in alphabet right now.
Hey, Lee, I’ll be glad to help you promote Some Very Messy Medieval Magic on my blog, Twitter, and IG if you’d like. Just email me ([email protected]) to let me know what you need and when.
Fantastic. I’ll be in touch.
Hi Lee – I’ll be around … but Erma’s Treadmill and Tedium – though after the event The challenge doesn’t really fall into her categories … but I’ll be glad to see Z next Monday … good luck = cheers Hilary
PS Alex will highlight it for you …
I’ll bet Z never looked so good, Hilary! Good luck. Loved your post on Totems today.
Oddly enough … other years have been worse – I’ve just done my thing recently … and thankfully seem to cope – it does take time … but is rewarding as I’m constantly teaching myself – yes those totems – I was glad to post that information … cheers Hilary
Good luck with your upcoming release! I’m sure it’ll do very well.
The books always get out there, much to my surprise.
Happy to help with the launch of “Some Very Messy Medieval Magic.” I can feature you and the book on my blog on Saturday, May 19th if that would be of help. You can reach me at thecynicalsailor (at) gmail (dot) com.
Thanks, Ellen. I’ll be in touch. Many thanks.
Hi, Cheryl-Lee!
I can picture you doing housework wearing an evening gown and pearls as did June Cleaver and other housewives of the 50s and early 60s. 🙂
I appreciated the Erma Bombeck quote. I was a fan. Erma was an entertaining humorist, a suburban housewife whose observations about family and life in general were spot on. I remember Erma’s many guest appearances on the TV talk show circuit, including The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, plus she was a regular on Good Morning America in the 70s and 80s. She is missed.
Knowing your gift as a writer, I have every reason to believe Medieval Magic and your other published works will be a smashing success.
Have a wonderful week, dear friend Cheryl!
June had a knack for looking perfect even doing dishes, didn’t she? As I remember Erma Brombeck wrote an hysterical book with the title something like The Grass Grows Greener Over The Septic Tank. Yes, a great humorist. We need more of those.
Have a great week. I’m coming around to see what musical treat you have for me today.
