but not here. I’ve jumped over to Substack for today’s post because WordPress is cranky and won’t let me do what I want. I’m growling, but lucky for you, there’s no soundtrack available.
Hope to see you at this new space today!
This, of course, is a rotten time for WordPress to act up, since I’m about to launch a new book. I’m not surprised, however, it has let me down a lot of times when I really needed it. If you don’t journey over to Substack, I’m looking for bloggers interested in hosting me. I expect to see the book out in late November or early December, but don’t have a date yet. If you can help me out, leave me a message in the comments here or on Substack. Many thanks!

Good luck Lee – life is not easy if we’re not all that techie competent. I just do what I can – but know that I must set up a private email for anyone who wants to get my posts – as I can’t seem to do it any other way – I’m around for you – cheers Hilary
Sherry Ellis says
Sorry WordPress has been acting up for you. Hope this works better for you.
Damyanti Biswas says
Good luck–I’m happy to host you, Lee–let me know what dates in November work–I’ll go on hiatus mid December for about 15 days.

Rattlesnake is a good tale and I can’t wait to hear more about your launch.

Thanks, Jeff.

How exciting about your new release! Count me in!
C. Lee McKenzie says
Merci!

Good luck with the upcoming lunch! Blogger keeps acting up for me, too, and I can’t comment on half the blogs I’d like to visit!
C. Lee McKenzie says
Sometimes changing the browser helps. But it’s a mess.

All the best on your new release. I’ll be too busy traveling to help your launch. It seems all our digital sites are playing up. We have to live with it. I’m looking for alternatives.

Couldn’t comment on Substack, so will try to leave my comment here.
Good luck with your new book. What a lovely cover!
C. Lee McKenzie says
Thanks for trying to comment. I’m still not sure how Substack works. Another learning curve.
Liz A. says
It won’t let me leave a comment at Substack. So, good luck with the launch.
C. Lee McKenzie says
Why has this suddenly become so confusing? Half the time I can’t comment on blogs I’ve visited for years.
L. Diane Wolfe says
That is crappy timing. I can help with the launch.
C. Lee McKenzie says
Thanks, Diane. Crappy is the word, all right!

Blogger is being a blight too. I would be happy to host you in December if that suits.
C. Lee McKenzie says
That’s lovely! Thank you. I’ll be in touch, and I hope you can sort out Blogger’s issues.

WP has been giving me trouble too. After the first time my post will disappear after I’d scheduled it and rewriting said post hullabaloo, I’ve been posting the day of IWSG day.
C. Lee McKenzie says
Hi, Lidy.
So frustrating. I’ve given up trying to make this site do what I want it to. A waste of time. Hope you have better luck,
Alex J. Cavanaugh says
Be happy to host you for a guest post on IWSG day in December! Sorry about WordPress.
C. Lee McKenzie says
Thanks, Alex. I’ll be in touch.
