Libraries are the best!
I am living in Costa Rica, a land without libraries or books in general. You are so lucky to have a library and most people take them for granted.
Libraries are such a wonderful thing. Books for all!
Yay for libraries!
Wonderful, wonderful idea โ I would be a wreck without my local library. Thank you!
Okay, yours is the last on my library love blog commenting tour! Thanks for your generosity!
p.s. following too ๐
HI Cheryl here to send our love from Texas to you and the LG library. Spent many a high-school afternoon there studying. All our love!

Hi Chandler,
You don't have to visit all of those links. They're just there if you want to. If you follow me and comment, I send $1 more to my library.
That's it!
Thanks for the visit. And thanks to the rest of you who have helped me in this challenge.
I'm slow. What do I do again? I comment on the list of blogs you provided? Thanks! Yay for libraries! I get my audiobooks from my local library every week!
Hooray for libraries!
Wow, this is a brilliant idea! Our county library (L.A.) is struggling also, and our school had to lay off the librarian. So sad. Thanks for doing this.
Yay for libraries! ๐
Huzzah for libraries!!
Ahhh, libraries. Went to school in downtown Lexington and many days walked to the public library. (Now the Carnegie Center) I can still smell the musty stacks, and feel the excitement of wandering through a canyon of books. My idea of heaven; then, and now. Save the Libraries!
Hooray for libraries! I'm doing the challenge, too, and I love the thought of the libraries receiving all our checks this month and feeling the appreciation.
I love my library and I love supporting yours!!!!!
Thanks for participating, C. Lee, fellow library-loving challenge taker. And thanks for your comment on my challenge post. Go libraries!
Hooray for libraries! Thanks for spreading the library love. ๐
Commenting with my library love.
Yay for libraries!!
Thanks for participating, Lee! I'm now following you, too. ๐
I LOVE my library!! I don't know what I'd do without it. ๐
I love this! My library is where I write. Don't know what I'd do without it.
Libraries capture our lives in books … they share ideas with the world of readers and make people of all ages smile. I worked in a library during my undergrad years on campus; loved every minute of it. A book and its home equals a library!
How nice of you – I do love to go to the library. The smell of the books, the endless possibilities…
Good luck with your challenge. I hope you raise lots of money. It's a great cause.
Fabulous!
You're like a real life superhero. Do hobbits wear capes? Just curious.
Thank you for your library love, Lee. I'm glad to participate. Ours is doing so badly, if people didn't donate books, I'm afraid there would be no new releases in the YA section.
I love libraries. I'll never forget the excitement of checking out a huge pile of books every summer, to read up in our vacation place in New Hampshire. Favorite childhood reading memory!
What a great idea!
Great idea, Lee. Very generous of you!

Thanks to you all for stopping in and supporting this effort. There are 50 bloggers in this loving library challenge.
Libraries have friends out there!
Such a wonderful thing to do, Lee. I'm fortunate our library, though small, is doing well. If fact it's doing so well it's being expanded, they are actually making more room! (The only hard part is that it will be closed while they make the renovations.)
It is sad that libraries are having to cut back or close.

Thoughts in Progress
Libraries all across America are closing. It's sad.
My young street kid, Victor Standish, stays all day at the library to stay warm and safe from the gangs. It's my subtle nod to the contributions our libraries in all our cities make to our young.
What a neat, and very generous idea! Especially since so many libraries have been closed…..good luck!
