On this Monday, I’m in the Mood to play and Kelly Hashway has provided the perfect game. Here’s how the game goes.
The Tag rules:
1. You must post the rules! OKAY CHECK.
2. Answer the questions and then create eleven new questions to ask the people you’ve tagged. YIKES!
3. Tag eleven people and link to them. SIMPLE TO FIND 11 GREAT BLOGGERS. HARD TO CHOOSE ONLY 11.
4. Let them know you’ve tagged them. WILL DO.
If you could live in a fictional world, where would that be?
I’d like to try Dune. I don’t know why. I just know that the way Herbert described the waterless world intrigued me.Do you read in noisy or quiet places?
I don’t care where I read, but in general I prefer quiet places, so I’d opt for that.

I don’t have a clue.
If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what would it be?
That would be a terrible fate. I can’t imagine reading the same book over and over again. I’d wind up rewriting that thing no matter how much I loved it at the beginning.
Favorite author?
So many favorites: Faulkner, Asimov, Penn Warren . . . good grief I can’t choose.
Do reviews influence your choice of reads?
Not really. Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion and tastes vary. This is what Kelly said. I say so, too.
Fiction or Non fiction?
I love both. Each has so much to offer.
Have you ever met your favourite author?
No. I think they’re all dead. What does that say about me?
Audio books or Paperbacks?
Paperbacks
Classic or Modern Novels?
I love the classics, but I always enjoy finding a new voice.
Book Groups or Solitary Reading?
I love both. Each has so much to offer.

Solitary
Okay, now it’s my turn. Here are my 11 questions.
1. What’s the best part of reading a book you love?
2. What book(s) have stayed in your head?
3. If you could write one book only, what would the main character be like?
4. What book(s) do you love to read to your kids?
5. Do you ever read books aloud to others?
6. Do you like discussing books with others?
7. If you hate a book, do keep reading anyway or put it away?
8. What kind of books do you like best? Sci-fi, Realistic, Historical Fiction, Biography, other.
9. Are you transitioning into the digital age with a Kindle or a Nook or a I-Pad? Or are you sticking with those hard copies? Do you mix it up?
10. How much do covers influence your buying a book?
11. Any new books you’d recommend?

thanks for the tag! My answers will post on Monday. 🙂
I love your answer to you'd rewrite the book if rereading over and over.
Brandi from Blkosiner’s Book Blog
THanks for the visit, Bradi. And, yes, as writers we are dangerous readers, right?
Cool post, Lee! I'm a solitary reader too. I like to go at my own pace and pick what I want to read. Love the photo!! 🙂
Yeah, that was one of my better mornings! LOL
What a fun post, Lee! I love your answers, and the photo was a perfect accompaniment.
I'm so glad I have something to post about Thursday! Thank you. 🙂
Great, Carrie. I'll pop over and see what you have to say.
I'll go to the Dune Universe with you. I'd eat the spice to get those Freman baby blues. My first love affair with a book was Lord of the Rings, followed closely by The Three Musketeers. This tag sounds like fun. Great questions. I'll be posting my "You're it" on Feb. 29th. Can't resist an Academy Awards post this coming week.
Wouldn't you just love to climb into that book and ride one of those spice worms? That's an image I've had in my head since I opened that book and dived into Dune.
This is awesome 🙂 Your answers made me chuckle. I'm so going to play 😀 Thanks for tagging me!
Hope your launch went well. I'll come by and see how you answer these questions.
I still have to do it yet hehe!! I know, I'm slow 🙂
Don't worry. There's all the time in the world!
I love the classics, too. Maybe why there's some throwback to archaic language sometimes in my writing. Thanks for the tag. Will try to get something up next week.
I'll look for it. Thanks for playing.
Hehehehe thanks for tagging me! I'll answer the questions now. 🙂
I'll check in and see your answers! Good luck.
Sounds like a fun game. I don't think I could read only one book for the rest of my life either.
Can't even imagine!
LOL! We stopped by to tag you and saw that you were already tagged : ) Loved reading your answers! Stephanie and I both enjoy the classics as well as finding great new voices. Swing by to check out the book tag. Have a wonderful day! ~ Jess & Stephanie

Ha! That is a kick. Seems like we have a tight circle here–tagging and re-tagging each other.
Thanks for tagging me! I will definitely answer these on wednesday! It will be tough to come up with 11 good questions, but I will certainly do my best 😀
Samantha
I'll pop by to read what you say.
I couldn't read in a group either. And is that you peeking over that book?
Yes. With a friend's book. I was trying to look funny. Turns out I look like a nerd. Oh well.
Thanks for the tag – looks like a fun game!
Can't wait to read what you write, Susan.
Love your answers! Ahh, and I am going to have to seriously think of how to answer your questions!! Thanks for the tag!
I'll look for your answers.
I was going to tag Fairday Morrow, but my 11 people filled up too quickly. I'm glad you tagged her. And you quoted me. Hee hee. Don't know why but that made me smile. 🙂
Someone beat me to it, so I had to switch. Funny thing, they did the same. When they saw I'd been tagged they moved on. This is a tight circle!
Fun game–I'm with you on solitary reading and I don't know the first book I read either. Although my earliest memory of a book is Madeline–I can still see myself holding it in the library 🙂
That was such a sweet book. It left its impression, I see.
Great thought-provoking questions. Enjoyed reading your answers, too…
Look for my post on April 17 in the A-Z Challenge. I'm quoting you!
