As I was thinking about what small things I’d include in today’s post, I realized that none of what I had in mind were small in the least. But I guess we call these small because they don’t make a headline splash or they don’t send us out to shout about them. They just bring a moment of joy, a chuckle, a sigh of satisfaction. So I’ll say these are the small things I celebrate, but taken in total, they are amazingly large.
A Crecopia Moth’s Brief Visit
He tucked himself under the handle of grocery bag for a nap. He stay all day, then flew off just as the sun set.
This year’s crop of peas produced some beautiful pink and red flower, then gave us handfuls of the sweetest peas for dinner.
A first Iris all white and tinged with a royal purple. Loved his kingly arrival.
Off to celebrate more small things with others in this Hop. Hope you’ll stop by and say hi to them.
Amazing things to celebrate. I love that purple tinged Iris!
Moths creep me out, yet I love butterflies. Doesn't make much sense, does it?
The moth is beautiful, as are the pretty blooms! Take care

Excellent things to celebrate. That iris is beautiful!
You've inspired me to get off my tush and do my spring flower planting.
I love your choices. So wonderful.
Moths, peas and irises… love the photos
Beautiful photos!
Your flowers are pretty. My irises made a pitiful showing this spring.

Wow!! What an amazing flower is the last one. It's gorgeous. I'm learning to eat raw peas. I never thought I would, but at this point nothing surprises me anymore.
That moth is a treat! Actually, the flowers… Heck, the whole thing!
Diana at About myself, by myself…
Hey Lee,
Have you missed me? Yes? No? Who are you? I'm liking some peas. Except for the time a bunch of them took me hostage in a giant pod. Once I started singing, 'peas release me, let me go…'it seemed my singing did the trick.
Sorry I cannot keep up with all these blog hops this, blogfests that. And especially that other one "IWSG" aka "I Was Seeking Gary."
A peaceful weekend to you.
Gary 🙂
Beautiful splashes of color in the yard! Nice of you to provide a resting place for the moth. 😉
My cats love moth season. Apparently, they're very tasty. I haven't tried one yet, though. I'll take the peas. Yum!
So pretty! We've just got rid of our snow – although little bits are still hiding in places. My tulips and daffodils are just shooting up!
Seems like you have a lovely garden. I wish I knew how to grow stuff! Have a great weekend!
Awesome you've got blooming irises. My flowers are all so late this year. I barely have tulips yet.
We're having a heat wave here already. Can't believe we were outside last night until after ten without even a sweater.
Beautiful pictures!
Fresh sweet peas for dinner? Yum 😉
They are delicious!
Wonderful pictures and beautiful celebrations! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Same to you, Tyrean.
A beautiful collection of small things to celebrate.
Thanks, Suzanne.
My Irises are blooming too. Such a sweet smell! And my grandmother gave me starts from her yard, so they make me smile from good memories too.
Plants like recipes always carried such sweet memories of people who've passed them on to us.
I like moths, too, some are amazingly beautiful. And that iris..wow! Gorgeous.
The Crecopia comes about every five years. This one was smaller than most, but beautiful.
Moths are so cool looking.
My little thing today was a big thing – surviving the Challenge!
You bet it was! Congrats again.
