B Movies Rock!
Not Really, but they did at one time.
I think.
Since I’ve been learning how to do book trailers, I’ve also poked around in the archives of notable trailers for movies. This one I loved the best because . . . well I’m a little weird. Ask my family.
It Came From Outer Space. Creature From the Black Lagoon and so much more!
Be sure to HOP around and say hi to others who are in on this wildly wonderful A-Z Blog Challenge.
Those movies of the 50s are what I was raised on. It was a great era of film and some fine films came out of it. Many of them still hold up for me. The filmmakers were often able to convey so much with so little compared to some today who have huge budgets and an array of technology.

A Few Words
An A to Z Co-host blog
It's me, #699 aka Leslie Rose. I'm having a blast on this hop. These trailers are my favorite so far. I'm a huge fan of Mystery Science Theater that's all about the B movies.
Hah! Oh, I just love the dramatic music behind the clip. π Great post, Lee!
Oh, those trailers are a hoot! So dramatic. I've never seen Creature From the Black Lagoon. I was such a chicken growing up, I didn't watch many scary movies. The Blob ruined it for me. Saw it at age six and had nightmares all night, so my mom wouldn't let me watch them ever again. She still forbids it! Haha!
That's amazing that so many people are participating in the A-Z. Wonderful turnout. Maybe next year I'll join in. These days I'm too wiped out to even recite the alphabet!
Holy cow, I can't believe over 1900 people are participating in the challenge. Wow!
What a fun topic for B day π
Thanks for these links now I can go around hopping to read all posts! I'm going to google B movies now…
I miss B movies, but more than that, the drive-in theaters! I have a friend in Dallas, Texas who was a B movie starlet. She has done more horror movies than Stephen King has story ideas, and that's saying a lot.
Whenever I want to watch an old B movie, I just Google it, then go to a torrent site and download it. I do wish they'd make a comeback.
Nice post – we don't hear a lot about B movies.

I love the opening of the trailer- it really offers quite an experience! There are a few really good B movies that I've seen. Great post, thanks : ) ~ Jess

B movies sometimes are as good or better than A movies. B could mean "Best." π
There are 1900 people in this challenge now???? I can't believe you posted them all here!
B-movies are awesome! Did you ever see Mystery Science Theater 3000? It's an old show where they used to watch B movies and make fun of them while they were playing. It was funny. ;D
My brother used to watch that Mystery Science Theater all the time. He'd come up with his own lines to make fun of them, too!
I love B movies. You get what you expect, a rollicking adventure π
Hmm. Don't think I've watched and B-movies, but I do love your post on them.:)

And some of those B movies ended up on Mystery Science Theater 3000!
I love the old black and white movies – especially film noir. π Great B post!
So loved B movies when I was younger, but now I don't have much time for movies at all. I'm with KD, though – I LOVED Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Such great stuff. LOL!
Happy Monday!
Jaycee's A-Z
Oh Lee, too funny! "There is no escape from me!" HA.
Have you ever seen Mystery Science Theater 3000? It's a fun way to watch B movies! And my favorite one has to be Plan 9 From Outer Space, but it's so bad, it's probably more of a C or D movie.
I used to watch more B movies when I was young. I don't have time for A movies even now! π
Wow! Over 1000 participants in the AtoZ challenge. That is amazing!!
Never mind The Hunger Games trailer. This one seriously rocks. Not! π
Yay for better computer graphics.
Cool idea for B.
I enjoyed the B movies when I was a kid. I think The Attack of The Killer Tomatoes was my fav but the creature of The Black Lagoon. I also love Swamp Thing. Yeah, I am telling my age now LMAO!
