Jen Chandler, The Mysteries of Death and Life

“Keep working. Follow the shape of your mind’s particulars (its rhythms, its oddities) like a bloodhound, and take the ‘narrative’ as far as you possibly can, so that the words are utterly yours, so that you’re writing in that singular way that singular thing NO ONE but you can write. Each time.” ―Ari Banias, poet, From an interview in the Jan/Feb 2017 issue of Poets & Writers Magazine

    Hi, Cheryl!

I am mesmerized by the covers of the short story anthologies Hero Lost and Beware the Little White Rabbit. The quotes you posted are all excellent. I especially like the one by Ari Banias. It resonates because I have found myself in that glorious zone - floodgates thrown open and words, my own words, flowing fast and freely.

Happy holiday to you and yours, dear friend!

    • C. Lee McKenzie says

      July 4, 2017 at 2:44 pm

Hi Shady! I do think the covers are special. The White Rabbit gif was a beautiful surprise when I first saw it. Hope you and yours have a wonderful Fourth.
