Asma Bashir wants two things: a summer fling and her favorite ’80s songs. During a trip to New York City to stay with relatives, she messes up in her pursuit of both. She loses track of the hunk she met on her airplane ride, and she does the most terrible thing she could possibly do to her strict uncle… ruin his most prized possession, a rare cassette tape.

A wild goose chase around Manhattan and Brooklyn to find a replacement tape yields many adventures — blackmail, theft, a chance to be a TV star, and so much more. Amid all this turmoil, Asma just might be able to find her crush in the busiest, most exciting city in the world.

Some days I improvise, and some days fall into routine. Both types are good, as long as I keep a good attitude. 🙂 Have an awesome weekend, C. Lee.

I love the sound of Medeia's book. As for improvising, I think it's good to know when and where to do so, instead of improvising all of the time, because then we'd lose all direction. 🙂

Thanks for your comment on my entry. I did more than one to further advertise to my friends the challenge. 🙂

Hey human superstar celebrity author, Lee,

Yes, my illustrious human friend, your wait is finally over for an eagerly anticipated comment from me. My alleged human, Gary, is not well and thus, I have to take over commenting.

Like Gary, I'm not in the slightest interested in any blog hops, blog fests, or anything weirdly bizarre alphabet challenge!

Congrats to your two winners, Lee!

Delighted to see mention of the latest release by another one of my adoring human fans, Medeia. She is well nice and hearty congrats to her.

Of course, as paw usual, consider your pawsting shared!

    Pawsitive wishes and doggy kisses,

    Penny xx
